This project was an adaptation of the bestselling Barefoot Books Solar System. At the close of my internship, I took part in early brainstorming on how to approach the adaptation of this title into a sticker book, and I was grateful to later be brought back on as a freelance production designer to help bring the project to completion. As a Design Assistant, my primary role was to create silhouette sticker designs from existing illustrations. Since the original artist files were flattened, I used a combination of precise lasso selections and Photoshop image-healing techniques to develop over 250 stickers. To keep the process efficient, I organized a detailed spreadsheet and tracker that streamlined workflow and supported clear communication of deliverables with the design and editorial teams. In addition, I assisted with puzzle-piece sticker composition layouts, contributed to the cover design, and supported production through typesetting and text/content updates.
